3. The information we collect, how we collect it and why.

When a user registers on the website, Glossiko requests and stores the user´s email address and other relevant information. We collect such information in so far as the user will have to receive communications by email relating the classes and the tutor will need to know some things to provide the service.

The information required will be: Name, email, age range, estimated language level and motivation. The user may also choose to provide his telephone number and Skype identification to improve communication and receive session reminders.
We collect the data mentioned above with the following purposes:

a. To allow the scheduling of lessons and test sessions.

b. To allow the tutors to provide their services, and

c. To allow our support team to contact the user easily to tackle any issues.

The data are stored in third party software systems (Stripe, Mailchimp, Acuity Scheduling) that use the latest security technology and comply with the GDPR regulations. The data may be shared from time to time with the tutors by email, if you book a session with them and they do not have your information.

If you wish to access any stored information or want us to delete your information from our systems, you may contact us at contact@glossiko,com. We will answer your request within 7 days at the most.

After users have registered for a session, they may receive emails relating their request. The users may also receive emails from time to time on updates and special offers. You may choose not to receive any emails by clicking on the link to cancel your subscription from the emails received.

Glossiko does not share with others the personal information that we collect from you when using the website or any products or services of Glossiko, except in the cases described under this policy.
